My Books

In addition to helping others through the book development process, I also write my own creative works.

My mind is full of book ideas, and I work to bring them to life as I am able. My first book was a memoir, Divine Renovations: A Carpenter, His Soul Mate, and Their Story of Love and Loss, published by Off The Common Books in Amherst, Massachusetts, in 2012. I recently released a second memoir, Willful Evolution: Because healing the heart takes strength. My first work of fiction and my first children’s book are in the works.

Titles

Willful Evolution: Because healing the heart takes strength

Willful Evolution: Because healing the heart takes strength is a memoir that continues where Divine Renovations left off. Willful Evolution tells the story of the past ten years. After I was laid off from my job, and my beloved husband died four days later, I had to reinvent myself and grow up in many ways. This work of nonfiction will take you to places far away—such as the Marshall Islands, where I spent a month several years ago—and it looks at the importance of family, and that which is most important: loving yourself. Tales of online dating will make you laugh, and poignant moments might make you cry. 2021.

Divine Renovations: A Carpenter, His Soul Mate, and Their Story of Love and Loss

This is a personal story of love, loss, and faith. During a kitchen renovation, I unexpectedly met my soul mate, only to lose him eight years later to cancer. Divine Renovations offers a glimpse at the profound devastation grief causes, but it is also a story of hope. Off The Common Books, 2012.

Authors trust me with the facts and the feelings that will serve as the foundation for their manuscript.
If you have a book idea, I’d love to hear it.
